It’s been 30 years since Tiger Woods teed it up in his first-ever PGA Tour event as a 16-year junior at the 1992 Los Angeles Open (now called the Genesis Invitational) at Riviera CC in Los Angeles. Today, he’s the tournament’s host, his foundation its main charitable beneficiary, and the 46-year-old Woods has learned more from playing “The Riv” throughout his career than most other courses on the PGA Tour schedule. Here, he takes viewers through his history at the event, and how it’s helped him make the game his own.
