The subscription- and member-based athleisure brand, Fabletics, has dubbed April the month of country club style, “reinvented.” Consequently, they’re dipping their toes into the exciting and trendy world of contemporary golf apparel with two celebrity-endorsed collaborations: the first, a ten-piece capsule designed with singer Normani; and the second, a golf-specific launch with the brand’s ambassador Kevin Hart titled “The Hart Eagle Edition Golf Collection,” another edited 10-piece capsule.

“From top to bottom, this is an elevated golf collection,” Hart, who joined Fabletics in 2020, said. “Each piece is created with performance material, and has a throwback look that is nostalgic and stylish.”

Hart’s Eagle Edition is inspired by golfing greats and groundbreaking legends, particularly Lee Elder, the first Black golfer to play in the Masters. The collection includes two polos, a knit quarter zip vest, an interval jacket, two bottoms options (a cotton short and trouser) as well as a sweatshirt, which Hart said is one of his favorite pieces. The looks include a custom, limited edition classic chain stitch logo personalized for the namesakes behind the collaboration. While this is not Hart’s first sartorial rodeo with the design team, it is his first venture into the specific space of golf apparel. The excitement is clear; the prints are golf-centric, rendered in vivid lagoon greens and pops of cerulean of the water hazards.

The collection is mostly designed for men; for women looking to upgrade their wardrobes with a little country club cool, the Normani collab released earlier this spring is designed for the female wearers who like their athleisure to read a little retro. The collection includes leggings, biker shorts, bras, a swimsuit, tennis dress and athletic skirt (with the always practical built-in shorts). The color scheme of emerald green, and classic navy and white adds to the capsule’s vintage, stylish feel. Editor's Note: Hems are on the shorter side, so taller ladies be mindful of length and coverage.

“I love to wear this line because it is comfortable,” Normani, who also modeled the looks, said, “but I also feel sexy, feminine and confident.”

And finally, Fabletics also launched its “Golf Fairway Fly Shop,” a collection of polos, trousers, crewnecks, mid-layers, shorts and more, all in vibrant colors and versatile neutrals, which would work mixed with existing staples or mix-and-matched with any of the new “country club, reinvented” styles.
