AT&T Byron Nelson odds 2023: Scottie Scheffler returns to action as top dog in Texas

After a hectic run of golf, Scottie Scheffler took a much-needed three-week break following his T-11 finish at the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town. With the PGA Championship looming next week, the World No. 2 returns to action this week in his home state of Texas for the AT&T Byron Nelson, an ideal "tune-up" spot before Oak Hill.

Naturally, without Jon Rahm or Rory McIlroy in this week's field, Scheffler is the clear solo favorite at +450 on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Scheffler has finished no worse than T-12 in his last 12 starts, an insanely-good stretch that dates back to the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in early November.

Next up is fellow Texan Jordan Spieth, the second-highest ranked player in the field after Scheffler. He's 9-1, some good value for a player who has been threatening to win all season and finished second here a year ago and top 10 the year before that. Tyrrell Hatton, fresh off a T-3 at Quail Hollow, is next at 14-1, followed by Jason Day at 16-1.

Below are the odds for every player in the field at the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson:
